Rory came to us super nervous in different environments and scared of all new people. She was able to get plenty of exposure and work through the issues!
Rory, a beautiful and gentle Golden Doodle, came to Liberty K9 with a unique set of challenges. Her owners noticed she was extremely nervous in new environments and hesitant around unfamiliar people. They wanted to help Rory build confidence and feel more comfortable in a variety of situations, so they enrolled her in our 8-Day Board and Train Program.
Golden Doodles are known for their friendly and social nature, but Rory struggled with anxiety, particularly when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places. Nervousness in dogs can sometimes lead to avoidant behaviors or stress, so it was crucial to create a structured, supportive environment for Rory to thrive.
During Rory’s 8-Day Board and Train, we focused on the following:
By the end of her training, Rory showed remarkable progress. She was more comfortable exploring new environments and interacting with people she had never met before. Her owners now report that she is calmer, more confident, and happier in social settings. Rory's transformation demonstrates how tailored training can unlock a dog’s true potential.
Golden Doodles are intelligent, eager-to-please dogs, but like Rory, they can sometimes be sensitive or nervous in unfamiliar situations. Proper training provides structure, builds confidence, and helps dogs like Rory overcome their fears, creating a more balanced and happy life.
Rory’s story is a testament to how Liberty K9’s Board and Train Program can help even the most nervous dogs gain confidence and thrive. If you have a dog that could use support with socialization, obedience, or confidence building, contact us today to learn more about our training programs.
